Latin as a language option in schools is 1) dumb and 2) xenophobic
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

This is not an emergency fundraising situation or anything, but work has a new policy that you can't make up holiday hours so I'm gonna be short 2/4 weeks this month. I have a bunch of prints available, and as per usual, there's a big sale on: www.inprnt.com/gallery/kati...

I have to sit in on an hour long meeting between the consultants the tech team hired and the consultants my boss hired, and even though the meeting is MOSTLY about them duking it out, I still have to be there because it’s about my org and I hate that for me

This is why we fund scientists to study things like oyster slobber even if you don’t think it sounds important
⚠️ Chinese researchers have invented bone glue that mimics how oysters stick to surfaces underwater.

The adhesive can reportedly repair orthopedic fractures in 2-3 minutes, even in blood-rich environments, and is bioabsorbable.

Happy 71st Birthday to Ruby Bridges, who at the age of 6 desegregated the New Orleans public schools.

She’s younger than 30 senators and our last two presidents—and only 7 years older than Barack Obama.

At the food pantry this morning I got to fill a handful of orders and we even had crackers in stock which was VERY exciting because that had not been the case for a while. I’m very lucky to have the flexibility to do so but highly recommend volunteering. It’s such a clear task to fill orders.
