It still really bothers me that we've lowered the flags to half-mast for Cheney but we couldn't do such for an actual president, Carter.

The people who, in response to pedos and sexual abusers losing their jobs, pull the "No evidence of wrongdoing" card are telling you that they too say and think the same unconscionable things. They see themselves in the disgraced and so they ironically tell us all "Me too".

Ffs. The incompetence of the lawyers surrounding Trump astounds me. Every last one of them ought to be disbarred and forced to go back to law school for their very apparent failure to understand the law.
Breaking on MS NOW:

The full grand jury never reviewed the indictment it handed up against Comey.

Prosecutors said, instead of presenting a new indictment after the grand jury declined to approve one of the counts, Halligan simply brought an altered version for the grand jury's foreperson to sign.

Tech could be so cool if it didn't consume every last bit of information about us and reduce each of us down to an algorithm that can be exploited to spend more money and divulge more personal information to the algorithms that will eventually rule all of us if they don't already.

"really mean and weird" sums these people up just about perfectly
Yesterday, a Republican tried to give me holy water and Trump perfume because I’m “demonic.”

Extremely normal stuff coming from an extremely normal party.

It is absolutely wild to me how hard Kaine is trying to make sure Democrats take the blame for the 40+ days of the shutdown. It's like he's mad that people were blaming Republicans for SNAP cuts and ATC/travel delays. He WANTS that blame.
Tim Kaine on AOC: "She was not at the table with the Republicans in the Senate. Maybe she thinks the Republicans would've caved. Would it have been another week of SNAP recipients losing their SNAP benefits? Another month of air travelers enduring chaos and even danger?"

Also. It's just pathetically sad that the bribe that seems to work for everyone is "well let's just get a gold bar". You could give this child a Wonka bar with a gold ticket and suddenly get whatever you want.
The Founders were so concerned about bribery that the Constitution forbids it three separate times. Two emoluments clauses ban officials—unambiguously including the president—from accepting things of value, plus bribery is the only named impeachable offense besides treason.

Unprecedentedly corrupt.
To negotiate a trade deal with the President of the United States, the Swiss government arrived with a "special Rolex desktop clock" and "a 1-kilogram personalized gold bar"

The tickets are already up for resale on Seatgeek for 400% of face value lmao. This world fucking sucks man.
November 14, 2025 at 4:16 PM
Tried to get tickets to see Hayley Williams because, ya know, there's not many people who are bigger fans, and today is yet another day I want to say: Fuck Ticketmaster and every capitalist twat who buys tickets just to resell them. It's messed up.

I just can't believe these people really believe it's some "own" to be like "Ask Clinton about Epstein!" Like. Yeah, bruh. I want all of them to rot in prison. I don't idolize political figures. I want accountability!
November 14, 2025 at 3:53 PM
Anytime texts leak from these "powerful" people I'm always dumbfounded that people actually speak in such completely illiterate language. Like, why the f does Epstein repeatedly put 10+ spaces between things?? They're all so incomprehensibly stupid.

Most don't know what ephebophilia is bc we're not perverted enough to look up the fucking difference. I only know because this is the common refrain from all extremist pervs. Just last year we heard it from Dr. Disrespect.

Trump's admitted he thinks 12yo=adult, btw. They're teeing this defense up.
Every time people get exposed for being disgusting, sexual perverts, they suddenly jump to this "It's not pedophilia! It's ephebophilia and that you don't even know that proves you're the problem, not me, the person who likes diddling kids". They all remain obsessive sexual perverts and predators.

I do not see how 8 episodes is going to be enough for this season of Hazbin Hotel, but I do know that I need to add a Charlie tattoo near my helluva stuff because my love for Charlie is basically on par with my love for Rapunzel and I really really love Rapunzel.

Imagine being so depraved, disgusting, and stupid that your immorality stands out to even Jeffrey fucking Epstein. And then imagine that an entire nation hands you the most powerful position in the nation TWICE.
November 12, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Crazy that the entirety of federal government leadership positions are occupied by pedophiles and pedophile protection squads, both of which love to accuse other people of being pedophiles because literally every single thing these people ever say is a bloody confession.

And the degree of patheticness that existed for him to make someone get to the end of the row on this and start to raise the photos slightly so he would be higher than anyone else. The petty narcisim to replace Biden's photo. It's just grotesque.
TRUMP: This is the presidential walk of fame.

INGRAHAM: Whose idea was this?

TRUMP: My idea. Everything is my idea. That's Barack Hussein Obama.
November 12, 2025 at 4:39 AM
I just... Even the stupidest of Americans wouldn't tolerate this degree of stupidity in their circles. And yet, we've decided to tolerate it in the highest position in America.

I'm repeatedly awe struck that we reelected the guy who told us to inject bleach and stare directly into the sun.
"I build many ballrooms...and that's my greatest strength, actually."

The US President's greatest strength is... having someone else make ballrooms for him. Incredible, sir, just what we needed.
INGRAHAM: Where did you get the stone?

TRUMP: Different places

INGRAHAM: Different places? Hmm

Is there confirmation that Schumer orchestrated the capitulation? Or is that just speculation?
November 11, 2025 at 8:31 PM
Trump thinks he can repair his approval ratings by sending checks to people because the first time he crashed the economy and his approval ratings, he could send checks with his name on them and fool some people. These checks, if they even were real, cannot repair Healthcare mortgages.

Like, you ran out into the middle of the battlefield with a target draped on both sides of your body demanding that Republicans and Democrats alike blame you for the hardship they faced for 40 days and the further hardship to come when there is no vote because Mike Grinder Johnson won't hold a vote.
Senator @kaine.senate.gov shut down the government for >40 days and starved SNAP recipients to get nothing, all while ignoring polls explicitly showing people didn't blame Dems, as well as landslide election results and huge rallies/protests celebrating fighters.

If you won't fight fascism, leave.
Tim Kaine on backlash he's getting: "I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct 1, b/c I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed fed worker would say to me at church, or what somebody would say about SNAP"

The capitulation here, and the inability to recognize that Dems were winning in the polls, winning at the ballot, and winning in the court of public opinion on this fight, is an admission that many of the Dem establishment (Kaine was a VP nom!!) are no different than the GOP. They want power.
SENATOR ANGUS KING: "Standing up to Donald Trump didn't work. It actually gave him more power."

This is the message of a failed, feckless, and leaderless party. We need a party with backbone, and the only path to it is through a cleansing primary season. If your Dem is up for reelection, and you aren't damn sure they're fighting the fascists with everything they've got, primary the bastard.
