My cat brought me his favourite toy wand — dragged it into my bedroom from the other side of the house — in a bid to play with me. It’s the first time he’s done this. While it’s the sweetest gesture, it’s nearly 1am. (Of course I’ll play with him)

This is due on Sunday and I have regrets. Good to know I still do things at the last minute. How else am I meant to get that adrenaline hit?
Signed up for a fanworks gift exchange thinking it would be good motivation to restart writing. I am several pages of plotting in and have a multi-chapter fic. Oh dear.

Peach, my cat, has recently started pawing at the courtyard door when she wants to go outside. It’s really sweet; and she vibrates with excitement once you put on her harness — like she’s ready for an adventure!

My cat woke up, did a big stretch, and yawned. Then she hiccoughed, turned into a small dragon, and coughed up a fireball.
"!!!" I said.
"What?" She shrugged back into cat form.
"You're a shape shifter?"
"All cats are. There's just never any reason to not be a cat."

Mario, my big poppet, is finally on anxiety meds and the change in his behaviour has been noticeable in 24hrs. He’s more relaxed, not vocalising, no longer aggressive to his sister and, more importantly, not peeing outside the litter box.
