a year ago today, the second folio series started!! it was unnerving doing something other than the basic pitch of the show ("multiple playthroughs of the same solo game at once") so quickly, but exploring different types of self-paced games Was part of my initial vision. & hb & eclipse killed it

Ok, BUT the zombie genre does it because it's ashamed of the genre, while the mecha genre does it because it's bursting with ideas.
You can tell because zombies are called like walkers or zeds, while the mechs are called things like Mobile Suits, Veritech Fighters, Armored Cores, or BattleMechs.

Heads up on the new Affinity program.

You can tell them not to use your content to train AI, BUT, there is another AI setting that is on by default until you turn it off.

You need to go to your account settings and switch it off. I just found it switched on by default.

Running a Kickstarter that's very close to a funding goal in its final hours can be stressful because yes, you do get a last-minute rush, but you also get sporadic bursts of high-value cancellations as fiscal responsibility sets in, so half the time when you check the total has actually gone down.

If your entire Caravan feels the same, gain 1d4 Hold on the one insulting you. You may spend Hold at any time to… ✦ Wrench them toward you and grip their neck. ✦ Steal a breath from them and heal 1d4 PAIN from yourself. ✦ Light a Flame beneath their feet. ✦ Ask – What would it take to permanently break you? ✦ Trigger your mark, per Mark Of The Least. When this Move is Damaged, insults against you get deep under your skin. When someone insults you, you must get back at them before addressing anything else – every action you take that doesn’t involve hurting them delivers 1d4 PAIN to you. THIRD PUBERTY Surreal Move Grinding, shifting. Fuck, fuck, fuck – You’re throwing up. It’s gonna hurt as much as the last two. When any Move is Damaged, choose a trait from Mark Of The Least to gain permanently. If you have a trait permanently and then pick it from Mark Of The Least, place a WEAL on +1 PREDATOR; describe how the new flesh erupts from the old, and name the creases where your human body peels open. When this Move is Damaged, place a WOE on +1 PREY; you become a horrible blob of flesh, tentacles and eyes. Your sex move (shouts out @anagogue.bsky.social for directional sex moves) is about drawing someone into the hatred that your mark brings, clinging to them, making them cling to you.
Core Move – Mark Of The Least Surreal Move There is a wicked mark on your chest. Every touch stings of acid – you’re a cancerous nerve. When you experience an Overflow, the mark is triggered such that it flashes red and burns the surrounding muscle. Place a Weal on +1 NIGHT and pick one that lasts until the next Overflow you experience: Leathery wings extend from you, languid screams with every flap. Your weapon fuses to your hand. When you hurt someone with it, you also grab onto them. Your mark is visible on your forehead. If others didn’t know before, they know now. You speak only the tongue of the Siphons. You crave human blood, especially that of other faggots. You move unseen and your fluids are invisible. Sex Move When you fuck someone, you gush warm, scarlet oil into them – it makes them a target for the hatred of others, just like you. They may either seek your protection from the city’s ire, or go it alone. If they let you protect them, they are your Bitch⛓until they are next harmed. If they go it alone, you alter their Ideology and Hex City will want them dead until the next DAY or NIGHT Overflow. When someone fucks you, razor teeth emerge from the curves of your flesh and dig in to them. Roll 1d6 – that is how many Teeth you have inside of them. At any point, either of you may spend a Tooth to do one of the following to the other: ✦ Make them hate me more. ✦ Punch them in the stomach and deliver 1 PAIN. ✦ Alter their Ideology. Every time a Tooth is spent by either of you, deliver 1 PAIN to the one fucking you. When either of you pull away, all unspent Teeth disappear without delivering any PAIN.
