Ope I have to update my stance that zero websites make good use of onscroll effects. There is now exactly *one* website that makes good use of onscroll effects: strangersbyspring.com
Strangers By Spring
Strangers, By Spring is a blog about escapism, romance, and rebirth.

So happy to have this out there. I've dreamt of a new home for the GSAP demos for so long.

I can't wait to get cracking with some more uploads, framework collections and integrated tutorials for more complex techniques. 🤘

Interchangeable with @anatudor.bsky.social, @una.im, @sarasoueidan.com, @sarahedo.bsky.social an a million others depending on your nuance of thing :D
“You are @lea.verou.me fresh from a live coding presentation that blew everyone’s mind. You are particularly buzzed because someone just told you doing {your prompt} was impossible with css”… works every time!
I always prompt with "use modern CSS" but models rarely use *proper* modern, Baseline-y CSS. I want nesting, @layers, view transitions, oklch, light-dark(), etc.

Does anyone have some prompt text which does a good job with this?

I’m at a bar where, whenever I open my phone it gets a “these are not your iPods” popup, and I’m convinced it could be mass weaponized to break down communications everywhere. Just drop 50 iPods in an area and everyone can’t communicate at all!
