That is very true (I was mod on a forum where we could only suspend but never ban regardless of reason - I'll let you imagine the rest) but it's also true that if you set down very strict rules but then enforce them unequally you also show your worst users that those rules don't actually matter.
Having shipped numerous MMOs over the course of the years, let me tell you that having and using the ‘fascistic’ power of moderation is crucial unless you want to have a 4chan style den of nazis and child porn instead of a viable business.
It's not linguistic loopholes. It's that power is inherently fascistic. It's impossible to be an admin of anything from a major social media platform to a tiny MUD and not turn into a enormous butt-hurt wimp. It's impossible to have the power to delete without using it.

I hope the "Wuthering Heights" trailer is some sort of fakeout because "the greatest love story of all time" is reeeaaaaaally not how I would describe any and every relationship in that book.

"Hemlock & Silver" by T. Kingfisher is nominally a retelling of Snow White, except there are no dwarves nor princes but a lot more autism and mirror creepiness and poison and awkward romance and roosters and blowing chime adder venom up someone's nose. So, y'know, 5/5 highly recommended.

Holy shit, just learned about the typewriter art of Montserrat Alberich Escardívol, a Catalan typist. Using an extra wide typewriter and 180 color ribbons, she built up elaborate images from simple characters like 'm' and '.' and ';'. Here is her typewritten painting of the Cathedral of Barcelona.
