i like the word dwelling.. as a noun it implies a continual re-affirmation of the activity, like if you call your house a dwelling you must continually choose it as your manner of, well, dwelling in the world.. its a mini eternal return, unlike 'house' or 'home'..

i was a little worried seeing all of those optimistic posts abt the new years in 2026 (oomfies saying things like "well this year was terrible too but maybe next year can finally be better") and sadly my worries have been immediately confirmed.. not a single good news story yet so far this yr

i really like my film camera (minolta srt-201) but its so heavy.. i wish it was as light as my broken one.. (minolta x-370).. but it wouldnt still work if it wasnt built like a tank probably

its not as fun to post on here as on twitter in early 2021 bc i cant risk getting retweeted by a niche internet microcelebrity who i can later have an awkward half-relationship with b4 blocking them w no warning after a sudden argument.. also i cant see good serial experiments lain memes anymore

yknow its kinda annoying to go to school right downtown but at least it means im always near people excited for hockey games, really good fog panoramas, and protests

the fault of others, but finally, nobody’s and everybody’s fault. They start off from the most universal, so necessarily, they don’t link back up with the individual. Since individuation is not a specification, it’s not by extending specification indefinitely that one will find the individual.

DS9, breaking bad, a series of unfortunate events, avatar: the last airbender, neon genesis evangelion, cowboy bebop, n redwall all have very satisfying endings, but of those ds9 or breaking bad have to win imo
