To coincide with today’s Honkai Star Rail update that has a mute Welt, here’s a reminder why the voice actor refused to sign a contract that would have put him at risk of letting Mihoyo do whatever they want with his voice print.
Here's footage of Welt's VA from Honkai Star Rail, Corey Landis, discussing how Mihoyo tried to get him to sign paperwork that would have relinquished the use of his voice-work to them to do whatever they want with it, and he could not sue them.
