What can you do?

Don’t give up hope. Dictators feed off your hopelessness.

Don’t quit. Dictators want you to give up.

Punch back. Dictators are bullies, and bullies are cowards.

Stay tethered to the truth. Dictators need you to believe their lies.

Resist. Stand with others.

Hey, folks - we really don't need X's takes about Kendrick's performance on Bluesky, we already know what they think. Keep the trash where it belongs so we can celebrate him here in peace.

“Nobody likes Cowboy Carter or thought Beyonce was worthy of AOTY” but there sure were 89000 people in front of my for the concert line for tickets in the queue

There’s an album that just won a significant award that has this same reaction…
feels a little insane that all of the reaction to kendrick’s performance is either “worse halftime show ever” or “this is actually brilliant groundbreaking subversive art for the current moment”

Like this is a much better coverage of his performance
"Kendrick gave us what we needed. He was defiant, proud, vindictive, playful & celebratory. He was pro-Black & subversive, trolling & joyful, and through all the expectations and fighting and nastiness, he was ultimately victorious" - @daviddennisjr.bsky.social on Kendrick's #SuperBowl performance

God I hate how yt ppl ruin shit. Not like us is a Drake diss yes but it is so much deeper than Drake. It’s about culture vultures sex offenders and racists who are not like “US” but neither is whoever wrote this article so…
Kendrick Lamar, the first rapper to headline the NFL's biggest stage solo, made his Drake diss "Not Like Us" the centerpiece of his Super Bowl halftime set at the expense of a larger statement, our music critic writes.

The moral of the story is leave people alone. If the country music awards would have just let Beyoncé sing her song, and clapped politely none of this would have happened. If Drake would have just made his top 40 rap songs without trying to be a battle rapper none of this would have happened.
