Just voted NO on the DHS funding bill.

It does nothing to overhaul ICE. We need masks off, bodycams on, accountability, and respect for our constitutional rights.

I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.

For a state that has fires every other summer I just don’t think AI should get any priority.🤷
Data centers are coming to Colorado. Can the parched state handle their big water needs?
Data centers are popping up in semi-arid areas like Colorado. Experts say they should come with a warning label when it comes to water.

I’ve seen so many articles of them targeting the wrong person. I sincerely believe that giving them the right to terrorize people in their homes is not going to improve things in that regard.

He’s in the news because people are rightly disgusted a draft dodger is insulting dead soldiers.

He wants to be in the news. He doesn’t care what for. I’m not sure what the solution is, but keeping him in the news has secured him a second presidency. Maybe we need to stop putting him in the news.

The administration’s move to end the use of fetal tissue in NIH research only furthers their anti-science and anti-abortion agenda.

Stem cell research is vital for research into regenerative medicine and other cutting-edge treatments. This assault on science will mean fewer cures for those in need.
The National Institutes of Health, the largest public funder of biomedical research in the world, announced that it would no longer support research that uses fetal tissue donated to science after elective abortions.
NIH says it will stop funding research using human fetal tissue
Scientists denounced the move, arguing that fetal tissue is crucial for understanding human development and diseases.

I appreciate when famous people share mental health struggles and how they manage.

I don’t trust ICE. An agency from 2003 as suddenly public as that should have unmasked, badge-wearing, body camera wearing employees at the bare minimum. If local police pulled the same stuff there would be no trust left in law enforcement.

@jonesroad.bsky.social their stuff is too expensive (even a mini kit) for it to take almost two weeks (at this point) to get to me.

It’s scary. The same people moaning about how they’re being attacked are the ones whose unrighteous mission seems to be to take away the right to speak from anyone who disagrees with them.

It should be possible to acknowledge that the GOP is the greater evil on things like this - while also acknowledging that the Democratic party has not done anywhere near good enough of a job. Crazy watching people defend a Democratic party that was so unpopular it lost to a wannabe fascist
