[Blog post] A year ago I picked up Kafka's Metamorphosis, and could barely understand a word. A year later, I'm happily reading German literature for fun.

What happened? I bit the bullet and finally started using Anki... (1/2)

So proud of the great work happening in Minneapolis, which shows that boosting housing supply helps make homes more affordable.

This is a great salad tip btw. Get the pink pickled ginger from the Asian supermarket & chuck it on some cucumber, and you've got an instant fresh & sour salad which goes great with spicy food. And pleasingly colourful. I eat it all the time

Wtf I've just used the Clearsky thing and three people have blocked me already?! I haven't even done anything on here yet
Is there a way to find out which starter packs you have been featured in? I’m assuming quite a few of you have followed me from people’s starter packs, so I’m curious as to which.

Really grinds my gears, this genre of video which has someone proving wrong a statement that no one has ever said. Like omg just show off your outfit without making up a guy to justify showing off your outfit

Appreciate this may not be a universally popular opinion but the less you treat BlueSky as a crusade or cause, and the more you position it as simply a superior user experience with a better governance approach, the more sustainable the growth will be.

There was an interesting question as to whether LLMs would be an equaliser. Judging by the utterly hopeless way some people seem to be using them, I'm guessing not.

I want to know about the people who said they'd support the measure but think that we can't afford it 🤔
YouGov polling shows more support for UBI than I would have guessed... or, it does until you ask people whether the nation can afford it, which causes half of that support to evaporate? yougov.co.uk/economy/arti...
