If you've studied languages, you've probably been told you should use Anki. I couldn't get into it & ignored the advice. But now I realise I've wasted a lot of time NOT doing it. So I've set out some experience on why & how to get into it, in my blog:

Have you used Anki? I started using it for German a few months ago - with a pre-made deck of the 5,000 most common words - and it's crazy how quickly my German improved

Cooler room, eye mask/ black out blinds, ear plugs if noise disturbs you. I also found L-glycine and magnesium threonate before bed helps
