This is a reasonable quote from someone invested in the state of public NFL analytics. Having lived through the world of the late aughts and early teens baseball analytics, it feels like dejavu watching it all over again.
I know Bears folks think I have some kind of personal issue with Caleb Williams. I really don’t. I don’t care if he succeeds or fails.

It drives me kinda crazy when the spreadsheets raise major questions about a QB and very few people acknowledge it.
Thank you for being one of the few people to recognize that Caleb Williams still sucks, actually. He might not always, but he does right now!

His entire wealth is supported by a self-driving fraud that has killed tens of Americans, on top of countless other crimes.

He is the face of the elite impunity that is destroying this country.

His freedom is one of the most important political issues of our time.
Again, it is unbelievable that this man is permitted to walk free after causing the deaths of potentially millions of people. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/18/u...

Looks like the city needs some new revenue sources. May I recommend...
Using IL SOS data and public curb weight data, if Chicago changed its residential permit charge from $25 to a weight-based system, it could bring in an additional $151-167MM/year when

>2500lbs = $25
2.5k-2.99k = $40
3k-3.49k = $62.5
3.5k-3.99k = $75
4k-4.49k = $105
4.5-4.99k = $160
5k+ = $200

I am putting my bets on Summers being the first Epstein correspondent to be interviewed by Chotiner: he has exactly the right mix of arrogance and self-righteousness

It's thermal network time, baby.
new from me today: not all data centers are created environmentally equal — and building them in states with cleaner grids and more access to water could go a long way in preventing environmental catastrophe
If the US Has to Build Data Centers, Here’s Where They Should Go
A new analysis tries to calculate the coming environmental footprint of AI in the US and finds that the ideal sites for data centers aren’t where they’re being built.

I love subscribing to The Athletic because, when I log in, it's like a little gamble if it's gonna work or not. All my other subscriptions work when I log in. Boring! This one? Nope!

I don't know how to share a civil society with people who don't see this as a moral atrocity
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

These can accessed from the Arsenal tab of the Pitching Leaderboard and Player Pages. Leaderboards: Each metric averaged by pitcher along with StuffPro and PitchPro. Like our other leaderboards these can be split and filtered to your heart's desire.

On Player Pages we split by pitch type and include some additional, high-level metrics for each pitch.

Pitch Type Probability is expressed as a %, w/ lower being harder for batters to detect. Others are indexed such that 100 is average & larger values are better for the pitcher.
