The Rose Quarter Improvement Project is still alive, and the Oregon Transportation Commission's message to the state legislature appears to be more or less we're doing this because you told us to, so we're not gonna stop it or kill it unless you tell us to do that.

I dunno if it counts as enshittification since it's not a new phenomenon but it's really tiresome how buying literally anything online automatically signs you up for email spam from the retailer and every single one includes an opt-out toggle but then ignores your selection.

to be fair this does capture a bit of the vibe of when your text chat with another human becomes a live conversation and then you're trying to quietly exit back to email cadence without being obvious
An absolute horrific nightmare of two AI bots caught in a loop with each other is the perfect example of the total nothingness of AI “brains”.
