Agreed. If I was still teaching ethics & public administration, I’d be rewriting the teaching plan weekly. ‘Unmasking Administrative Evil’ (G.Adams/D.Balfour) would be essential reading.
When I taught Civics, I used Supreme Court cases to trace our expansion of rights to demonstrate democratic values.
If I were still teaching Civics today, I would need to place the concepts of 'precedent,' 'stare decisis,' and 'rule of law' in the trash bin.
