It's particularly gross that they're targeting one of the few universities in the Welsh-speaking bit of Wales, where a lot of work has gone into expanding and adding courses (notably medicine) on that basis

I take comfort in the fact that "Reform will close Welsh Universities because of Twitter drama" is actually a campaigning gift to Plaid for the 2026 Senedd Elections in plenty of places.
People work at universities, their kids go to them, and students buy things.

It has become quite clear why all the bad shit didn't get unpicked after the election. Sure, hound them out.
But the unpicking will still need to happen, or we are stuck here, all the awful shit embedded into our institutions.
