It's particularly gross that they're targeting one of the few universities in the Welsh-speaking bit of Wales, where a lot of work has gone into expanding and adding courses (notably medicine) on that basis

So I've only just seen these stickers but if you ever needed further proof that @transform.wales have the absolute stuff, that Goldie Lookin' Chain sticker is it.

I mean their reports and tireless work to make Wales better, right.

But that STICKER!
Our stickers have arrived in time for @govcampcymru.bsky.social on Friday!

Who's going? 🙌

The UK's "free AI training for all" program may offer free courses, but there is a cost to society for the government's approach. Elinor Carmi, Tania Duarte, Mark Wong, Susan Oman & Tim Davies argue it deepens Big Tech dependency while sidelining critical AI literacy and community organizations.
The Real Cost of the UK’s ‘Free AI Training for All’ is Democracy
Researchers argue the UK's 'AI Skills Hub' should be re-thought with input from civil society groups and public interest organizations.

I take comfort in the fact that "Reform will close Welsh Universities because of Twitter drama" is actually a campaigning gift to Plaid for the 2026 Senedd Elections in plenty of places.

People work at universities, their kids go to them, and students buy things.
Reform is threatening Bangor University over a student society’s decision. The society isn’t Bangor University—but this is a neat preview of how a Reform government would work: public money for supporters only. Trump-style politics, UK edition.

Authoritarian reflex is already working just fine.👇

MAGA complaining that they didn't understand Bad Bunny's performance has nothing to do with a language barrier.

It has EVERYTHING to do with a HUMANITY barrier.

Given that Keir Starmer has given no concessions to Eluned Morgan on HS2, devolution of justice, reform of Barnett or any of Welsh Labour's key policies, it makes you wonder what it would take for her to call for his resignation...

NEW: Sources close to Eluned Morgan, Labour first minister in Wales, insist that she is not planning to say anything on Keir Starmer's leadership today - despite reports to the contrary.

Am told Eluned Morgan, First Minister of Wales, is going to follow Anas Sarwar in calling for the PM to stand down;

Also that there will be "Scottish MP ministerial resignations" afterwards

Ministers saying it's the end game...

Mae’r pwysau ar arweinwyr Cymru i fabwysiadu AI ym mhobman. Ond nid yw AI yn ateb gwyrthiol a fydd yn datrys ein holl broblemau cyllidebol ac effeithlonrwydd ar ei ben ei hun. Anaml y mae atebion hudol yn gweithio os yw’r diwylliant yn aros yr un fath.

New from us!

Essential reading in AI for leaders in Wales.
The pressure on Welsh leaders to adopt AI is everywhere. But AI isn’t a miracle cure that’ll magically solve all our budget and efficiency woes. Silver bullets rarely work if the culture stays the same.

Can we please re-centre and focus on what Epstein is about.

Justice for these women.

Stopping this shit so no more women, girls have to go through this again.

Aren’t these thing that Labour are supposed to champion?

I’m terribly confused.
A Labour MP tells The House’s Sienna Rodgers McSweeney’s resignation will mean “full speed ahead to uber-woke, net-zeroist, rejoinerism”.

Which sounds good to me, but is also very telling of the beliefs of the faction McSweeney championed.

It has become quite clear why all the bad shit didn't get unpicked after the election. Sure, hound them out.

But the unpicking will still need to happen, or we are stuck here, all the awful shit embedded into our institutions.

I doubt that’s changed.
