#Uber has been billing me $9.99 per month for Uber One, which I did not sign up for. Chase is being helpful. It turns out that this is a known problem! Check your credit card statement! Someone is really desperate for quarterly earnings, huh?

I'm looking forward to all the older people who don't want Medicaid to take their money to pay for a nursing home finding out how much nursing homes cost.

Super tired of hearing how the Democrats went so far left. Was the DNC pushing for six months of paid parental leave? Truly universal healthcare? Better funding for public schools? Lower college tuition? A higher minimum wage? Paid annual vacation? Nope.

I have a really hard time beliving that bombing hospitals in Gaza will bring Jesus back. And if that does make him come back, he will be pissed. There's not much Jesus-like in Evangelical Millennialism, is there?

I saw "Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted" yesterday and I highly recommend it. A bunch of creative and talented old musicians sharing a house? Just great.

I'm reading about the shooting at the Capital Jewish Museum and reminded once again that there are no amount of wrongs that add up to make a right.

Concrete Blonde. Johnette Napolitano was drunk out of her mind and passed out on stage--after her dress straps slipped and she flashed everyone. Then her band walked off.

This is fascinating. And terrifying to people who make a living from intellectual property.
Really incredible story unraveling in this thread, where Amazon and other sites have seemingly been able to sell an academic textbook that was withdrawn in 2021 and never actually printed or published, without the knowledge of the press, editors or contributors. Something has gone deeply wrong!
Hi Chloe,
This is news to me (and to my editor at Routledge.) I'm shocked to find this out. I assume that this is somehow a pirated edition. Does it include the section on Neurodiversity? Part VIII?

My definition of corruption: if Obama did it, would he have been removed for office? If so, then it's corruption.

I've been here, many times. They've done a great job with our family events. People from the south suburbs swear that it's the only Aurelio's and only pizza place that matters.
Cardinal Robert Prevost (center, blue shirt) visited the flagship @AureliosPizza location in Homewood in August with friends and family. Who could've imagined what would happen less than a year later! wgntv.com/news/robert-...

Keep in mind that the conclave isn't final. When Pope John Paul I died after 33 days, the sister who taught me told the class that God could step in if the cardinals made a mistake.
