I really didn't like the previous government, but also they didn't retrospectively change the ILR rules to force immigrants who'd followed all the rules to leave the country, have a lifetime ban on citizenship for refugees, stop Ukrainians ever getting ILR or ban trans people from public toilets.

When was the last time our over-inflated media reported specific Geneva or Genocide convention articles broken?

Really enjoyed this interview and it's refreshing that the journalist says she doesn't agree with all of my politics but still engages with the ideas.

You don't have to agree with me on everything. Just the basics: it's time to make hope normal again.

It's hate Vs hope.

Let's get Hannah Spencer elected! 💚🙌🏼
We have a real chance to elect Hannah Spencer as the Green Party’s 5th MP.

This by-election is clear: Green vs Reform. Graft vs grift. Hope vs division.

As with so many of Labour's inhumane anti-asylum policies, the one in one out policy has, from the start, undermined protections for trafficking and modern slavery victims, breached human rights, and put lives at risk. It has no merit, and should be scrapped.

It has been some time since I wrote an intensely personal thread, however, my ongoing job hunt has raised a few issues which I think are worth sharing, because I am sure that other people go through them and it may help them to know they aren't alone in thinking them. 1/
Sadly it is official, my current employment contract finishes at the end of March. It has been a fantastic three years at Migrant Voice. If you, or someone you know, knows of job opportunities for an experienced policy, advocacy and comms person, across multiple sectors, please do let me know.

Mandelson’s malign influence runs right through the heart of this Government.

Not least in the govt’s NHS data deal with Palantir – a spy-tech firm co-founded by a man who thinks the NHS should be ‘ripped up.’

I've written to Wes Streeting urging him to ditch this dangerous deal.
