The president has illegally declared war to stop fentanyl trafficking from a country that does not traffic that drug, claiming its leader is trafficking drugs himself, the day after pardoning a former leader of a country who is a convicted drug trafficker.

Demolishing the East Wing of the White House before finalizing plans for what will be built above its ruins is a near-perfect metaphor for Trump's approach to economic policy. The only difference is the wrecking crew doesn’t claim the rubble is evidence of unprecedented growth.

While Trump is ordering the FBI to investigate U.S. Senators over a video reminding military members they don’t have to follow illegal orders, it might be worth noting that “I was only following orders” was rejected as a defense at the Nuremberg Trials.

Donald Trump publicly calls for the execution of Democratic congressmen, and Republicans don’t bat an eye. But as soon as you make a joke about Charlie Kirk’s views, all hell breaks loose.

If we were still a nation that valued law and order, a nation that honored its ideals over partisan loyalty, then Donald Trump would be scorned by EVERY American for being the dangerous, divisive wretch that he is.

Every single one.

The only people Trump likes and admires are his fellow monsters. The rest of us don't matter. What galls me is that a majority of Americans knew exactly who Trump is and decided he was a better choice than a Black woman. I don't think I'll ever get over that.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Specifically, he says the reporter's questions are *insubordinate*. Like the press owes him deference.

Any MSM owners or editors or leaders out there with any pride at all? Any dignity? Any spine? [tap tap] Hello?
Q: Why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now?

TRUMP: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you're a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start off with a man who's highly respected asking him an insubordinate question

The fact that this, and every other Trump pardonee who has subsequently broken the law, has not ended Trump's political career, that it barely even registers on the national discourse, underlines just how far we are from a functioning democracy that values accountability.
A man pardoned by Donald Trump for his role in January 6th - he assaulted Capitol Police officers with bear spray & a metal whip - has avoided prison for child sex crimes because of the president’s sweeping pardon, despite pleading guilty to soliciting what he believed was a 15-year-old girl for sex
Trump Pardon Lets Convicted Child Sex Predator Walk Free
Andrew Taake walked free because of Trump’s pardons, despite being convicted of a child sex crime.

Is there a single member of the Trump administration that hasn't told a bald-faced lie to reporters? Do news reports ever tell the people that these are lies? The country is simply not going to survive. We get tired of saying it but it is true, corporate media would not allow this from Democrats.

Calling Black and Brown women "low IQ" while you brag about passing a cognitive test is peak white man
Trump: "They have Jasmine Crockett -- a low IQ person. AOC is low IQ. Have her pass the exams I decided to take when I was at Walter Reed. They're cognitive tests. Let AOC go against Trump. Let Jasmine go against Trump. The first couple questions are easy -- a tiger, an elephant, a giraffe ... "

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

The seeds are being planted to rig the midterms. It’s becoming more explicit.

Trump obviously meant it when he told the older Christians that they only had to come out to vote once more, and then everything will be fixed. He meant it, and the media laughed it off. He meant it, and they told Harris and others not to be so bombastic. He meant it. He Meant It.

HE MEANT IT ! ! !

Our military is being paid by an anonymous donor.

Our WH East Wing was demolished for a ballroom - paid for by donors.

These aren’t acts of benevolence or patriotism.

This is the oligarchy assuming control, insidiously becoming part of how we function.

Every American should reject it.

What do the republicans, or the billionaires, or Putin have on John Roberts? Did Roberts really ensure that the Trump autocracy could emerge because he doesn't believe in democracy? Because he doesn't believe in the constitution or his oath to it? Or is he being blackmailed?
