It's a ridiculous plan. Certainly neither achievable or sustainable. School leaders need to refuse to implement it, or it will just be another thing we make work through endless goodwill of leaders and staff.
These are all very legitimate concerns. SLT running breakfast clubs, SEN staff from every class… these things are not achievable and certainly not sustainable. As I HT I would often have to cover and could be with chn from 7:15 to 6pm. This could be the straw that breaks the camel.
This has been my worry all along with the breakfast club nonsense. You can talk about funding all you like, the long and the short of it is that school leaders end up with another job on the list, another extension to their working day, and the job becomes ever harder...
And this is from DfE advice!

A privilege to attend Peacehaven Mosque yesterday.

In the afternoon, I met with mosque leaders, community volunteers, and residents to help clean up and restore the site ahead of its reopening.

In the evening, our community stood together in solidarity. We stand united against hate and division.

Every time I come across this photo it completely stops me in my tracks. Crude oil supertanker Esso Hibernia under construction at Swan Hunter shipyard, Wallsend, during 1970. The scale and spectacle of this thing is incomprehensible. (📸 Harriet Berney)

The media are full of headlines about schools banning phones. But no push for the internet providers to put measures in place to protect youngsters...and nothing about parental responsibility to monitor phone use.
