10km on treadmill & ice bath dip this evening. Got out for a walk with kids earlier. The joys of endless roadworks for the next 7 weeks too... #running2keepthecrazyaway #running #treadmill #icebath #riseeveryday
The thrilling view i have on the treadmill its inside the shed/outhouse which is sort of a brick built outbuilding and previous owners liked the wooden sauna style wall cladding. So you can see the treadmill control panel and the wall with wooden cladding. Garmin stats showing 2 walks, totalling 3 miles, a 10km treadmill run and then ice bath dip. Selfie as I get in the ice bath at 10pm again.. I am wearing a pastel beanie hat, a crop top style bikini top, in pink and black and black bikini shorts. The inside of the ice bath is white and you can see thermometer behind in the water. Roadworks. Lots of street cones and temporary fencing surrounding diggers and other construction vehicles. The road is covered in snow.

Escaped for a swim. Really cold but really beautiful. So grateful to be able to have these moments. #wildswim #swimtounwind
Post swim selfie 3 of us standing by the riverbank, the 4th person is taking the photo but in reverse as its a BeReal picture. On the floor leaves, some swim kit. Behind is river and trees the other side of the bank. View one way down the river, there is a fence at the very edge with a tree. Then along river just trees lining the side. The sun is shining and sky is blue. Cold, crisp morning. There were biting 30mph wind gusts though. View the other way up the river. Again lined by trees but you can see more of riverbank and the mooring spot. Two swans that came to say hello. I think they thought we might have food for them, we did not. I love how you can see their feet paddling under the water and their reflection. My little bit of daily joy.

Christmas saved! My oven broke at 6pm last night... by 6:30pm I had sourced the right element & paid for next day delivery. It was in Birmingham by midnight, then Snetterton DPD by 5:30am and with me before 10am this morning. Now I just need to fit it. #Christmas #DPD #oven #delivery #grateful
