Ein markanter, dunkler Baum am winterlichen Ufer, dessen zwei Hauptstämme am verschneiten Hang V-förmig auseinanderstreben. Die kahlen, filigranen Äste ragen weit in den violetten Abendhimmel und bilden eine dunkle Silhouette vor der tiefstehenden Sonne. Im Hintergrund erstreckt sich eine weite Wasserfläche, auf der sich das goldene Licht in einer hellen Bahn spiegelt. Die Szene wirkt durch den Kontrast zwischen dem dunklen Vordergrund und dem sanften Dämmerlicht sehr ruhig und atmosphärisch.

Baula in Borgarfjörður is a conical lava field that can be seen from many places in Borgarfjörður and its surroundings. The mountain is landslide-formed, steep and sparsely vegetated and rises 934 m.
It is said that from the top of the mountain you can see nine counties in good visibility,

Oh, luck you have found me today, I am grateful, I've been missing you. A perfect seat of moss and bark reveals itself in the glance of an eye at the base of wonderful you, most charming fir. I step up, settle in and gasp at the water view that you have framed beautifully with your evergreen boughs...there are diamonds on the still blue/green water gifted to us by a sunbeam..I may stay a while.

fog over the river with a raptor
8:40 am this morning and fog has begun to lift off the Santiam River while an osprey or an eagle floats slowly westward over the other side of the river. Lots of moss covering the rocks and tree trunk to the left with some dead grass on the right. Trees line both sides of the river and the fog has risen just above most of them and still hides the sun ☮️

A Golden Cuttlefish (Acanthosepion esculentum) in a clear plastic container. It is quite small, about the width of a finger of the person holding up the container. It is has light brown to yellowish beige colour. It sitting at the bottom of the container and it appears to be looking at the person. It recently inked, and there is a dark purple ink blob to the left. The ink blob has a cup shape that is like the shorter three sides of a trapezoid, and then there in a blob below and thick blob sort of to the front. In the background you can see the surface of the water and some land across the bay but the background is all out of focus.
