I should note that getting to this part of India is deeply rural. If it were the US, you would have heard banjos.
The people were so nice and took such good care of me. They saw my whiteness and went above and beyond to make me feel safe.

I am by no means a class first — let alone class only — leftist, but the older I get the more I think that the way you disrupt a lot of sexual violence and exploitation, including Epstein type shit, is by raising the floor with a massive social safety net and lowering the ceiling with taxes.

i think nominating Gavin Newsom will lose the White House again for Democrats. The party's left flank will stay home again because he's an empty corporate shell. The age of Democrats punching left to appeal to the center is over and it's now a matter of if the party as a whole realizes that or not.
