Mr. Beast answers the question, what if the satirical movie idea of entertainment in a corporate hell future came true. Now all we need is Kristi Noem to film ICE raids as reality TV and we make it to Death Race/The Running Man.

A thing: people who are incensed at an adaptation that strays from the book, but are really comparing it to their own *wild* head cannon.

Putting people out of work ceases to be a counter point to shuttering awful things if we provide basic food, clothing and housing to all who need it, which the world has the ability to do easily.

A 2016 promo image for the D&D podcast (Polymorph Self) with the style and characters as Stranger Things. Cast member Elaine Chow created it after seeing season 1.

Accidental 'album cover' shot from a session of the Polymorph Self D&D podcast around 2018, which I wrote and DM'd. It's an interesting story ...

okay, back to work on my fantasy books, where I continue the New Wave style made famous by writers like Le Guin, Moorcock, and outsider art like Tanith Lee's stuff.

current work in pinned post.

Why are ppl doing weird replies on a short-form, context-collapsed parasocial platform?

Yup. Billions of dollars get thrown down the toilet monthly to prop up GPT apps, while artists struggle for resources and millions of people have no healthcare. We're already living in the 70s/80s scifi vision of a dystopia.

Also , fun fact, my 15 year Twitter account was perma banned for sharing a YT music video, a day after Musk made a new rule banning embedded video from sites with advertising. I didn't bother appealing it, just moved on from that hellsite.

Oh, the Gunship music video I shared is labelled. That's fine, but first time I have had that on a thing I posted, the video is animated and harmless but there's a bunch of cartoon core and vampire fighting.

Streamers and fake journos who lauded Trump as anti-Imperialist are the most historically illiterate, laughable oxygen thieves to have existed.

One unintuitive part of life, which I know as a photosensitive person, is that dark mode is worse for your eyes. The overall darkness opens up your pupils and then the screen text shines bright light into them. I get instant glare and a long text afterimage/pain.

The nazi's site, home to the nazi's AI, has a current viral use as history's most efficient creator and spreader of CSAM, and tons of you are still like 'but I need to keep my account there,' as well as posting screens from there. It only dies when no one looks at it.

Ok, everyone, what book is sacred enough to you to get sworn in on?
Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.

Going into 2026. Actually Ratcatcher 2, as portrayed in that one film only, is my most related to superhero character, as she is constantly in need of a nap and she loves animals.

Happy New Year. If you are a writer and you have ever finished that first full length draft and got it to place where it's finished: then you have succeeded, you've made it. So now get creative, craft and enjoy yourself. Everything else is a lottery.
