Listen, I don't have an issue with ResistLib memes floating across my timeline periodically, AS LONG as you also talk to me about your music tastes, sports teams, kids, job, etc. Just ... be a person. If all you are is a politics meme generator you're going to get muted. 🤷
I'm driving a 2016 Honda Odyssey and it's still in good shape. Idk if I'll get 6 more years out of it but I should get 4 and then we'll see.

the 15-year car loan thing is incredibly stupid but I feel like many of the people saying "it'll be off the road in 15 years" have not looked at a 2010 car lately

Though Trump’s pardons can’t extend to state crimes, I think it’s worth pointing out the message being conveyed:

Trump’s allies are alleged to have stolen data from state voting systems in an effort to help him overturn an election he lost.

Now he’s pardoning them for it.

bsky.app/profile/anna...
News coverage of this has focused on the pardon of those involved in the fake electors plot.

But the pardon also extends to key figures who participated in the unauthorized breach of voting systems in Coffee County, Georgia

It is good that Senate democrats made this decision as a caucus. It is bad that they made the wrong decision.

Hey 40+ year old dudes. I found jeans that stay up, are comfortable on the waist and weren't expensive. Gap's current straight leg cut. It's been 10+ years since I bought gap jeans so idk when this changed but I approve.

Good news for Ohio at least, because we just passed a bill in October that keeps the seltzers in places that sell beer. Bad news for my KY friends though, you'll have to come to Ohio.
A specific brand of Small Business Guy that has flourished in the past few years even in fully criminalized states is about to get nuked by this.
of all the things about this deal that are pissing me off this might have pissed me off the most

Guys, everyone here already dislikes Chuck and wants him to resign. You can stop now.

If you tell him "fuck you, make me" he can't do shit. But of course a bunch of red states will comply.
I asked Georgetown law prof David Super wtf is going on with this latest demand for states to claw back benefits already sent out.
He says the law doesn't allow for this, and if the USDA is mad that states already sent out SNAP money, too bad—they were following USDA's own guidance. Full comments:

Like a 75% chance someone in the DOJ got a text about this and was ordered to indict someone.
With a “WOW!,” President Trump posts a claim about DOGE and “royalties linked to Obamacare” that originated on a satirical website. That site’s own About section reads: “Everything on this website is fiction… If you believe that it is real, you should have your head examined.”

I do not know what is going on with UofL fans who live in Louisville still... Idk if it's the radio shows or the fan boards or what but y'all are toxic. It's not good. Figure it out and knock it off.

Post you from a different era. The 90s were the fucking best.

I just paid $73 for a 5lb bag of single origin whole bean coffee from a low cust bulk roaster. That's ~a 6 week supply in my house. That comes out to $14.60 a lb, which is what you used to pay for a 1lb bag of organic specialty from a local.

And I don't mean "in the 90s." I mean like, in 2023.

Hey @loueyville.bsky.social, are you still at cornbread? I just found out a nearby gas station sells their seltzers and I like to support KY businesses when I can. What flavor do I pick up?

My mom is stuck in NJ due to flight cancelations. I think Duffy is probably telling the truth about unsafe work conditions and needing to cut back flights but I also think it's clearly the GOP's fault that there were unsafe work conditions.

I will give credit to Teslas for exactly one feature I have not yet seen in other cars. When the light turns green the car makes a noise at you.

The frequency of people looking at their phones or GPS at red lights and not seeing the light turn green is out of control.

I only weigh 165 lbs 😬
If he is saying billion, with a B, that's about 400 pounds per person, which seems like an unhealthy amount of weight to lose. bsky.app/profile/acyn...
Oz: We thought it was 125 million pounds. Our estimate is Americans will lose 135 billion pounds by the midterms
