Labour keep trotting out the excuse that a lack of money forces them to do it when announcing controversial policies.
By far the single biggest factor hurting GDP is Brexit, yet Labour are taking a teaspoons-of-water-on-a-forest-fire approach to it.

1. Starmer wants an agreement with the EU on veterinary standards etc for food imports/exports.
2. Such an agreement would need a body to enforce its rules.
3. The EU insists that the enforcing body should be the ECJ.
4. Brexiters completely reject the ECJ.
