Looks like Apple may be considering renting you something you bought.
I assume they will provide refunds for those that choose to swap over. At a minimim, they should not remove access to the apps if you paid for them.
Is Apple Phasing Out the iWork Brand?
With the launch of the Creator Studio subscription app offering, Apple may be phasing out the iWork branding that it has used since 2005 for Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. Apple today removed the iWork ...

Even with the help of Google, Apple still can’t deliver the Siri update it promised in 2024.
Perhaps they should have spent less time and money on soddin’ emojis and other fluff and more time on actual software.
Mail, Music, Files, Messages, Photos and the rest are every bit as bad as Siri.
Long Delayed Siri Functions Are Reportedly Being Delayed Once Again Because They're Slow and Inaccurate

They should be required to refund purchases they cripple.

Certainly no “greatest generation“ people in America today. They knew how to deal with fascists.
Nearly half of Americans today would (and did TWICE) vote for Adolf; and would do it again.
I feel exactly the same way.😢

This is election interference and gerrymandering writ large. The work of a would-be king.
I recall an Amendment to the Constitution was made to prevent this sort of tyranny? Wonder where all the gun nuts are now. The NRA is eerily silent.
Translation: I will steal this election, and my lawyers will find a thin excuse to justify it.
