What are some interesting use cases for GPUs?
Lots of work is spent on making GPUs bigger, so I’m interested in niche ways to piggyback on this beyond training NNs (and making handbags).

What are the wildest workloads in your discipline you’d like to see go brrrrr?

Young scientists - look up books that detail the history of your field and read them. I promise you’ll come away with a renewed optimism and probably 10-20 great ideas to test in your current project
I’m listening to “p53: the gene that cracked the cancer code” by Sue Armstrong on audible and it’s great.

Are any longevity / aging people here yet?

Absolutely. Science twitter was amazing! Can’t wait to see what I can learn here 👀
Something really is happening here.

Sci-twitter was a phenomenon and a loss. The stunning recent growth of Sci-sky shows how much we value this form of connectivity.
