The amaryllis fell over under the weight of its own magnificence so I’ve had to put it in a vase. The camera doesn’t capture it but its petals are slightly glittery.

Just looked at the weather forecast. They’re predicting the odd glimpse of sun on 10th February but it will have to fight its way through sleet showers. No sun predicted before or after. 🌫️🌫️🌫️🌫️🌫️🌫️🌦️🌫️🌫️🌫️🌫️🌫️🌫️ Still, something to look forward to 😕

Took Will to Paradise (Killinghall) for his birthday lunch. Asked him how it was and he said he was “pleasantly surprised by the amount of mashed potatoes “. I think he’s still traumatised by the time he got served 6 chips at Bettys in Ilkley.
