Old bag. Still, at least I can now get a ‘flu jab. Plagued by impending sense of doom and a small haughty cat called Daphne Whitethighs.
Hard to tell, what with the overpowering taste of arthropod.

Like cutting cocaine with icing sugar.

Someone had to go there!

There is a lot of sex in the Decameron!

Of course! That must be a fun job: sieving through civet’s ordure as though panning for gold.

Perhaps the carapace is also a good source of calcium.

Reminds me of story 10 of day 6 of the Decameron. A fraudulent priest tries to pass off a parrot’s feather as part of Gabriel’s wing. Some jokers steal it & replace it with coal. Without hesitation, the priest claims a further miracle. The feather has become the coal on which S Lorenzo was martyred!

Rather less useful if I’m to be honest. In fact, the exact opposite of a miracle.

It was dead. The woman who made the coffee was anxious to assure me that she’d used very hot water so it wouldn’t have survived for long. #Phew

Must be something in the water.

Andrew Tate was brought up there from the age of 11. ‘Nuff said.

No, it just photographs like that. We live in a rather dilapidated Georgian terrace. It’s photogenic but damp and draughty.

More or less. I always half expect to see a body splayed out on the rug.

A headstone? But, but, I thought you were one of the undead. 🧟

Thanks!

It does but I look truly appalling. Shame because I usually suit hats. I do wish I didn’t suffer from residual (and largely misplaced) vanity

I will only take it off when in the shower.

That’s my catchphrase.
