It’s very frustrating that the conjuring movies are mostly put together ok but are slavish in their devotion to the warrens who are evil, evil people. They could have just been random ghost hunters but no gotta carry water for these evil assholes

Talking about the witch on discord and I realized that the movie takes place in 1630 and Plymouth was founded in 1620. That witch had only been in America for like a decade maybe. All her dark forest rituals are just European things she brought over. She is just as much a colonist as the family
