Watching doc about resilience that reaffirms many changes I made last few years to my mental outlook (I read a LOT of brain books). Brains are hallucination engines. If the story is the world is shit, everything is fucked, brain reframes every interaction this way. It impacts behavior; shuts us down

Il y a des gens qui ont DÉCIDÉ que ces enfants dormiraient dehors. Des gens qui se sont dit "non, on va pas les abriter pendant l'hiver". Des gens qui ont pouvoir de vie et de mort ont choisi que la mort était plus seyante pour ces enfants.
Selon les chiffres de 2020, il y avait environ 128000 logements vacants à Paris. Chacun de ces enfants pourrait avoir le choix entre plus de 420 logements, en présumant qu'on ne leur laisse pas la possibilité d'habiter à plusieurs.
Ne pas les loger est purement une décision politique.

Il neige à Paris, et au moins 300 mineurs en recours vont encore dormir à la rue ce soir, faute de solutions. Certains nous disent avoir trop froid pour se déplacer jusqu’aux distributions de repas. Ils n’ont qu’une toile de tente, ressenti prévu : -6°C cette nuit.
