if you're one person making a comic by yourself, don't treat yourself like you should function on the same level as comics that have multiple people working on them. your backgrounds can be squiggles and colors.

allow yourself room to be abstract with details and give yourself some grace

Ceramic bird shaped wall hanging of a cream coloured bird in a T-shaped pose. The wings are painted to mimic the Palestine flag. There are sgraffito floral details, and a set of handmade red tassels with handmade watermelon charms hanging from it's tail. This version has a red cheek. Donation receipt to The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) which shows a total of $225 for their Gaza Urgent Relief and Recovery fund.

This year was my first year tabling with my comics!
Seattle/Olympia Zine Fests, and Portland Zine Symposium.

some things I've learned:
- offer a sliding scale for price.
- colorful/descriptive signage matters.
- display things vertically.
- I hate face masks with the metal piece in them.

Our #fnb chapter isn't on social media much, we are pretty old school.

We meet at the same place & time 2x a week. But during fall & winter when it's darker out, we begin earlier at 4:30 pm. This will start around daylight savings end ~Oct/Nov. Exact days TBD.
