That isn’t what we actually want you spineless jellyfish of a man. We want them gone. They were a disaster from the moment they formed. Stop being a twat who caves to corporate interest and do something worthy of being remembered for.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

After brutally arresting Aliya Rahman, an autistic, disabled woman, in Minneapolis, ICE agents told her that "this wouldn’t have happened if I was a ‘normal’ human being."

If you do anything to bear witness to what is happening in Minneapolis right now, go find her full statement. Brave don’t even begin to cut it. To go through what she did, and then still make sure she helped be a voice for others.
"These practices must end now."

Can comfirm from MN, as can anyone who lives here, that not a THING has changed except little Bovino isnt peacocking around the streets anymore. And there hasn’t been a third high-profile murder of a white person yet.

But the gestapo attacks haven’t stopped. At all! bsky.app/profile/jyse...
ICE hasn't stopped brutalizing people or shredding the Constitution, it's just that corporate media turned the camera as the call for action got too loud and the Democrats stepped in and made sure the issue got changed.

If you sit for a second, you'll recognize that's what happened with BLM, too.

Whatever ICE says happened, videos and witnesses show that they lied.

The justice department doesn’t have enough lawyers to deal with their charges or responding to their illegal actions. The risk here is that they will continue to do illegal things without the checks and balances. Including detaining and disappearing people. This feels intentional.

men in general like to say “none of my business” when it comes to their brethren being violent assholes to their partners and families
I went into sports media, pretty naïve. I honestly thought that people cared about the violence so many famous men committed against women.

I cannot express to you how much 90% of the men working in sports media do not care.
I'm worried that the broader public isn't really understanding the Epstein Files. The problem isn't that everyone in the files is a secret pedophile, it's that all the people are corresponding with him because they *don't care that he's a pedophile*. It's a story of elite impunity.

I hate them so much, and the people I see defend them are often bullies that like silencing anyone who questions them. Caucuses are great at that, so it tracks. They are anti working class (esp service industry), racist, ableist bullshit.

The arts, and especially outdoor accessible art, are such a wonderful part of this state and the metro. I love that about us.
Up at Silverwood Park in St Anthony, MN, they built an ice carousel. Drill a hole in the ice, put in an outboard motor, cut the ice in a big circle, fire up the outboard, ice carousel.

People do fun weird shit outside in Minnesota all winter long. Park was packed. It’s delightful here.

I’ve joined on to the bandwagon. Because I like knitting hats. I’ve made hundreds in the nearly 30 years I’ve been a knitter. My plan is a tasseled hat, but with stranded color work (newish skill for me) in a bright pink. Needles are small & I’m slow. Would like ICE gone before I finish. 🧶
