Rep. Eugene Vindman: " I want to start by condemning the president for calling for six Democratic members of Congress, all of whom are patriots who served our country to be hanged. It is the kind of thing we expect from a Saudi Crown Prince, not an American President."

I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane, been shot at dozens of times by anti-aircraft fire, and launched into orbit — all for my country. I never thought I'd see a President call for my execution.

Trump doesn’t understand the Constitution, and we're all less safe for it.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.

Ought to be front-page headlines.
Trump is calling for the six Democratic lawmakers who urged the military not to follow any illegal orders to be arrested, and he’s reposting replies saying they should be hanged and calling them terrorists.

A JAG is expressing concern, military personnel are calling for legal advice on lawful orders. It sounds like the military are not buying the regime's intelligence on these boats strikes.
Hopefully the military will turn against the regime.
“The JAG at Southern Command specifically expressed concern that strikes against people on boats in the Caribbean Sea and the eastern Pacific Ocean…could amount to extrajudicial killings, the six sources said, and therefore legally expose service members involved in the operations.”
Top military lawyer raised legal concerns about boat strikes
The lawyer at U.S. Southern Command, which oversees the operations against alleged drug-smuggling boats near Venezuela, disagreed that the strikes are legal and was overruled, according to six sources...

This is beyond horrific.

ICE is responsible for the well-being of people in immigration detention and it is failing that responsibility miserably. Mr. Ge’s loved ones and the American people need answers immediately. www.newsweek.com/ice-detainee...

This is the law. Passed down from our Founding Fathers, to ensure our military upholds its oath to the Constitution — not a king. Given Stephen Miller is directing much of a military policy, he should buff up on the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

I wish we lived in a land where if journalists heard the president call one of their colleges "piggy" or suggest another of their colleagues, who was butchered for what he wrote, in some way had it coming, they would close their laptops, leave as soon as possible, and ask to be reassigned.

Very thoughtful read.
"But in the twenty-first century, we’re waking up to a new kind of struggle for freedom, one far more intimate and far less obvious: the fight for freedom from manipulation. The right to an unscripted mind."
Yes. We obviously have a massive struggle against tyranny to contend with.

But there's a more subtle and insidious threat that we can't ignore:

The struggle for our very mental autonomy.

Please read & share my latest post in Re-Founding America:
The Oligarchic Capture of the American Mind
There is a great struggle ahead of us: a fight for freedom from manipulation. For sovereignty over our own attention.
