My advice: diversify your reading. You’ll find more great books that way and you’ll support writers who actually need it AND you’ll be less susceptible to heartbreak when monsters are revealed because you won’t have all your little emotion eggs in that one monster’s basket.

But holy shit can I still not stand this: "Wow, this book is amazing."
