For what it’s worth, as a commander and officer it was my duty, moral obligation, and legal requirement to first question and then to not obey any illegal order I was given.

We are talking about a President who recently said that the US military should use US cities as a training ground. Who insisted at a debate, in 2016, that the military would obey his orders whether they were legal or not. The notion that he might issue illegal orders is hardly far-fetched.
