You should watch this report by Scott Pelley of @60minutes.bsky.social — while more of a synopsis of the earlier reporting on this utterly corrupt pardon of Binance’s founder as the Trumps feather their fetid nest, bringing it all together makes for a powerful indictment.

CBS is the network that paid Trump $16m. CBS is the network owned by the Ellisons. CBS is the network that failed to push back in its 60 Minutes interview of Trump.

Of course, CBS is asking questions like this to House Democrats.
Margaret Brennan to Tom Suozzi: "Can you explain the focus this past week in the House by Democrats on the Jeffrey Epstein files? Is this a tactic to distract from the failure to extract healthcare changes?"

Senate Republicans have now voted REPEATEDLY against saving the ACA tax credits that millions of families rely on—including just last week.

Republicans do not care about lowering your health care costs. Not now, not ever.

Before ACA, I regularly had patients who bought insurance they thought was "best for them". I've seen $50k annual max, $500k lifetime max, plans w/ no Rx coverage, plans *carving out* cancer treatment, plans that denied leukemia treatment because prior iron deficiency anemia was a pre-existing. /1

The Republicans don't believe any of this bullshit. They know how insurance works. They've been bribed by the insurance industry for their entire careers. This is just a lame attempt to hide the fact that they want to deny health care to millions of Americans.
Cassidy: "The president is proposing that we take the $26b that would be going to insurance companies if we just do an extension and give it directly to the American people in which 100% of the money is used for them to purchase healthcare on their own terms. That makes them an informed consumer."

In this post, I explain why the major questions doctrine provides additional reason to reject Trump's claims of sweeping detention/deportation power under the Alien Enemies Act, which he claims is triggered by illegal migration and drug smuggling: reason.com/volokh/2025/...
The Alien Enemies Act and the Major Questions Doctrine
The Trump administration's claims that illegal migration and drug smuggling qualify as an "invasion" or a "predatory incursion" under the Alien Enemies Act go against the major questions doctrine.

Let's start calling it the "Trump Murder Memo."

#TrumpMurderMemo
It is interesting to me how the media seems far less interested in Trump's Murder Memo than you'd expect. Only a few reporters seem to be even trying to get a hold of it, and very few commentators are talking about it. Contrast that with Bush's torture memo, which was a national obsession. Weird.
Trump's illegal murders in the Caribbean just got worse. An internal DOJ memo on the bombings says the victims are waging war on the US, but per NYT, it extensively cites the WH's *own claims* to this effect as evidence!

It gets even darker than that. 1/

I'll be interviewed along with two families from There Is No Place for Us. It would mean a lot if you'd watch and help spread the word.

It's hard to express what it meant to watch Maurice, Natalia, Celeste, and Rhea tell their stories—in their own voices—this morning.

The segment revealed a brutal reality: homelessness at this scale isn't about personal failure. It's the result of policy choices and systems built to exploit people.
