The worst part for me of the covid inquiry is that their key findings are still calling preventions restrictions and implying only vulnerable people are at risk when we know long covid is also a risk to everyone. No mention of airborne transmission. Basically nothing has been learnt.

I was mulling over the idea of closing down all my accounts. Came to the realization that it would isolate me *too much*. Itβs been good for me and my family to do this. Iβm more present, less anxious about the what ifs but still informed. Recommend to think about SM usage.

I took Ig and FB apps off my phone. All news apps are off as well. Itβs been helpful to have to sit at a computer and go on the browser once and get the gist. Itβs less anxiety inducing. Cause truly. Omg.

I just want all this illness around us to end π

Asked our ped if baby should get Covid and flu vaccines and she said yes if we can and/or everyone else should be vaccinated. So I scheduled the appointment in a few weeks. Already dreading having to put up arguments to why she should have her vaccines with the nurses.

Itβs exhausting but I remember when she was born just under 30 weeks wondering what the future would look like. Looks pretty average. Grateful for that.

I work in healthcare. I often second guess if my child needs to go to ER and will try my hardest to avoid it but itβs not always simple as that and it carries some risk. Expecting parents to know when to (not) go is ridiculous.
