I'm actually embarrassed for him.
A simple ? from Wajahat Ali pushes Hakeem Jeffries into a crashout:

"Why not lead and abolish ICE? What you're telling us is you want our taxpayer dollars to pay for a lawless masked armed agency to continue terrorizing our cities."

Jeffries: "I don't understand anything you just said to me."

An apparently hot take in today's C# world is not virulently hating regions. I don't necessarily see the alternative, smaller classes across multiple files, as always being an improvement.

Really is a mystery as to how he's still a virgin
Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”
Nick Fuentes: “The number one political enemy in America is women. … They have to be imprisoned.”

Joe Neguse is easily one of the most effective Democrats during hearings like this.
NEGUSE: AG Bondi, that man works for you now, right? The man in that video from J6 yelling 'kill them!' at cops. His name is Jared Wise.

BONDI: He does work for us, yes. I believe he was pardoned

NEGUSE: And you expect hard-working police officers to believe you take law enforcement seriously?

I just got a spam email trying to impersonate an employee that left a few months ago (spammers didn't know this) and asking how to update their bank account # for their paycheck. Here's my response:

How has there not been an SNL skit about a social media chiropractor accidentally beheading his patient and having to play Weekend at Bernie's with the body until the video ends

r/Conservative is one of the most pathetic subs on the planet. For the weeks leading up to this, there were at least 4-5 frontpage posts about Bill & Hillary testifying and the day this dropped you can't find a single mention. Like someone snapped their fingers and they collectively forgot.
When the cEnSorShiP indusTriaL cOmplEx hearings were happening I offered to testify in public only—if there was a mass cabal why didn’t Rs want accountability?! Why keep only calling liars like Shellenberger and Taibbi as witnesses w/backroom interrogations for perps?

The answer will shock you…

Hyperion was good. But it cemented my belief that the only people who should be writing about romance are the professional writers of the romance genre (not a fan of the genre personally but I imagine they're at least a tad less cringey to read).

Oh boy, he's right. They were the only 2 people on this planet who could see it. Nobody saw this coming. Not one other person in the last 10 years thought "Man, he might not be good for this country". Not one person.
Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, warned us about Donald Trump. Two leading women that would have lifted our country up. Yet, here we are.

My hot take is that the one-size-fits-all solutions will go the way of the dodo unless they provide a foundation for extensions. The ability for smaller companies to build bespoke software tailored to their needs is coming. Which means the black box apps won't survive for long.
While Wall Street now thinks AI will disrupt SaaS apps. I think the reality will be nuanced:

1. Companies vibe coding solutions will hurt niche apps but not major ones. Vibe coding a CRM or HR system to save costs would be madness.

2. Some apps will die because they will just be features of LLMs.
