I had the best time getting ✨multilingual✨ in R and Python at the Summer School for Women* in Political Methodology 🤗
Couldn’t ask for a more supportive group; very important when several hours of live-coding is involved 🙈

So many things to love about this NYC result, from the policy possibilities it creates and generational change it delivers to the rebuttal of the naked and cynical Islamophobia Mamdani's opponents tried to stir up and the schadenfruede over dirtbag Cuomo's big sad. Today, I❤️NY!!

It is not normal to absorb this much info about extreme violence. It is not normal to constantly think that only by pure chance, you could have been subjected to the same. I feel like something is eroding in our humanity, because we numb our feelings to deal with the terrible reality we live in

This sort of language legitimizes the racist policing of brown/queer bodies in Berlin that has escalated over the last few days. It’s always been complicated to be Jewish and racially ambiguous in this city. Things are getting worse.
Meanwhile, in Berlin, the gov has directed educational institutions to report students saying "free Palestine," displaying "free Palestine" stickers, or wearing a keffiyeh to the police. The gov's official letter positions these acts as supporting Hamas & "terrorism." (letter via a TAZ journalist)
