This map shows the erosion susceptibility for Gisborne & Wairoa. It's from 2018 i.e. BEFORE Cyclone Gabrielle so it's likely the areas of high & very high erosion have increased. The forestry companies know this too, yet want a pass from the effects of slash? Talk about selfish & destructive.
