Can't be doing with all this noise from Sabalenka. I'm old and make an oof noise every time I get up, but I might try brutally shrieking and see how people react

I know I keep banging on about my designs but it’s not easy being a small business at the moment.
Have a look at my wares and please repost.

Badly bruised my right arm by shutting the electric window in my VW Polo, whilst resting my arm on my door 🤷🏻‍♀️
What's the stupidest way you've hurt yourself?

Oh I'm so glad you asked! I knocked myself out with a frozen bag of omelettes.

Hate putting the washing on. Don't mind hanging it up. It's putting the dry washing away that kills me. I usually just wait until @janeyseasider.bsky.social does it. Or just wear it off the maiden until it's empty
putting clothes in the washing machine: yes yes YES

having to hang the washed clothes: wish I was dead

God, I love Declan. He's one of us 🫶

Sick of this weather now. Spent 10 hrs travelling from Preston to Newcastle and back via rail yesterday. Delays, freezing cold trains, boiling hot trains, frozen car..... And now no heating. Arrrggghhhh

I won’t go into detail but various incidents have occurred and someone has just uttered the words “well, if we don’t have roast potatoes that’s not the end of the world is it” MORE AS WE GET IT

Brit 1: “There's a new drama on”
Brit 2: “What's it about?”
Brit 1 “I don't know but's it's got that guy you like in it and the woman you liked in that other thing”
Brit 2 knows exactly who the two actors are.

Beautiful
Here's a true story about my dad. When I was little, we were on a beach in Oregon and he found a message in a bottle.

The note contained an address, with a plea in a young boy's handwriting to send a postcard and let him know how far the bottle had traveled.

Reading the comments on social media about Carla and Lisa on Corrie, you'd think people were being forced to suddenly leave their husband of 30 years and go GAY.
Jesus, what does it matter what other people do in their lives? Just be happy folks. Love is everything

Watching PNE away on Sky Sports Plus is like listening to 2 blokes chatting in the pub with the TV on mute

Very moving moment when the result was announced. After hearing some of the contributions I'm glad there was no "We won" going on. Just respectful acknowledgement of what had just happened.
There are no cheers. No noise. Silence. I've never seen a victory like it before in my life. This sense of growing recognition and moral responsibility.

The commentary on Sky Sports Plus weird again tonight. Commentator not there? Summed up by that odd exchange when he thought Hughes had been subbed for KKH. Crowd noise muted again too

Football has lost its way.
That second half was absolutely tedious. I'm just glad I was watching at home and not wet through from going to Deepdale.
Bring back Sean Gregan! Midfield needs some character
