We're surrounded by people supporting some of the biggest/richest clubs in the world. United, City and Liverpool are a short train ride away so loads of people just chose that option. On Sunday we were ravaged by injuries and suspensions. But we wanted to show the world that we are still here.

We all know we are a club that has failed to achieve anything of note for generations. And we all had to grow up listening to our Dads, Grandads etc talk about how great we once were. We will never be that again. But we still persevere. And that weighs heavy on us. On Sunday we put that all aside

You don't have to try and argue your way out of it. As I said, I have always enjoyed your writing. But this was poorly thought out. You could have made so many other points about North End and Preston. But you chose a path that offended people on a day when we all took pride in our historic club.

I'm not really sure what to say anymore. If you do ever come back, try one from a proper bakery. And maybe try being a little less condescending to people from a working class town who support their "boring" club rather than jump ship and watch a side they have no connection to.

I like you as a writer but I did not like this article. Butter pies rule. Why on earth would you try Greggs for a local dish made in bakeries? Just defies logic.
