This is one reason why building community where you live is the number one engine of larger scale organizing. Dual power and mutual aid all the way, because that the foundation of everything else.
There's a lot to be said about identity, solidarity. But a simple place to start: the people who are willing to fight for their neighbors when their neighbors have different problems have a very, very good chance of having neighbors to fight with when you all share problems

School officials, you better protect those babies!!
ICE raided Los Angeles elementary schools in an attempt to kidnap small children. They hid their identities, claimed they weren't ICE, and lied to school authorities that they had "permission" from the parents to take the children out. School officials luckily didn't fall for it.
