⬇️ just drawn to my attention, as I’m not on X. Michael did contact me for comment on his book.
He omits to mention however, that while he used appropriate pronouns for others in the chp, he chose to use my surname 30 times in order to avoid having to do so. Yet seems to have expected a response. 🤷♀️

The media framing of “free speech” is so ridiculous that now people boycotting someone because of their bigoted views (ie exercising their freedom of speech to disassociate) is seen as “cancelling” while the state locking up people who dare to protest genocide generates limited to no media outrage.

The BBC News website has pages & pages of coverage related to farmers protesting inheritance tax, including events where only a few hundred turn out.
In London yesterday 100,000 people marched for trans rights, and nothing.
Imagine if it was 100,000 anti immigrant activists, they'd cover that.

Looking across the papers today, anti-trans rights commentators and politicians also seem to be the ones opposing making abortion legal. It shouldn’t be a shock to anyone - they’re against bodily autonomy. For everyone.
