Ukrainians are without heat, light and sometimes water because Russia is waging a genocidal war of aggression and the West is pursuing a policy of stubborn cowardice and insane stupidity.

Fascist Russia is at war with the West. We are in the middle of World War III.

This war will not end until we understand rashism (Russian fascism) to be a variant of Nazism (German fascism). Russia’s genocide of Ukrainians is a crime comparable to Germany’s genocide of the Jews.

This has been the story of the entire nation for the past 10 months:
♦️The people have stood up: Stood up to ICE, stood up at No Kings rallies, stood up in the voting booth.
♦️The institutions-- the Supreme Court, media companies, Big Law, universities, Dem leadership-- have caved again and again.
2/2

You think Dem voters would have turned out in the numbers, and with the enthusiasm, they did JUST FIVE DAYS AGO if they thought the party was going cave like this? Jesus

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

So the Dem #CaveCaucus aren't even getting a real vote out of their surrender:
♦️Without a House vote, any Senate vote is meaningless.
♦️And without at least 4 GOP crossovers, a Senate vote is meaningless too.
Q: Will you assure House Democrats they'll get a vote on ACA subsidies by a date certain?

MIKE JOHNSON: Ah -- no. I'm not promising anyone anything.

But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.
