I really tried to do my own big passion projects after working for The Man For Money and Healthcare, like a Good Hard-Working Artist and I paid for with my health and sanity. Even places that MAY pay folk for their original stuff, like publishers, etc. honestly pay peanuts compared to the workload.

if you want artists to make weirder art, you have to create stable living conditions that allow them to. homogeneity isn't a matter of artists lacking culture-- there are many soulful artists out there-- it's a matter of unregulated corporate dominance combined with artists who cant afford to create
