21 years ago I rode the red line back and forth for 3 hours overnight to bridge the gap between end of purple line and start of orange line trains to get to midway for an early morning flight. RIP my stupid shenanigans
cta is planning on making the orange line run 24 hours a day!! imo they should take the opportunity to through-run brown & orange line trains (at least overnight) so that everything from kimball to midway can be 24 hour. they already run occasional rush hour trains like that!!
