Ford's casually racist comments are a dog whistle I've heard my whole life, reflected in notions of "high" and "low" technology. Baskets are a technology, and STEM courses should be teaching their historical trajectory. You can trace colonization itself through basket tech www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

I love that this is happening, but I hate that it's even necessary.
More of this, please. The folks in this grassroots group are heroes.

Haven Watch lives by the promise, “No One Walks Alone.” Day or night, they show up. When people are released from ICE detention, volunteers meet them in the cold, disoriented, and exhausted.

Beautiful and devastating all at once.

Forgot to mention the part where Mr. Laurier opened many Residential Schools and enslaved Indigenous ppl while PM...his legacy is trash.
Sir Wilfrid Laurier was one of Canada's most influential prime ministers.
His 15 years as Prime Minister is the longest unbroken stretch in Canadian history. He also spent nearly 45 years in the House of Commons as a Member of Parliament.
This is his story.

Ossoff: "Among today's false prophets are the election deniers who indulge this president's obsession with overturning the 2020 election. Maybe other parts of Ontario are waking up to what Toronto has known since 2018. Doug Ford’s fetishes are your burden.

Canada’s mainstream media has been a cheering section for fascism for far too long.

They continue to push false narratives for cheap clicks and engagement.

They’ve proven time and time again that they can’t be trusted to fact-check and report on important issues honestly and effectively.
